Mining, logging and ranching subgroup, 1913-1940.

Chiefly photographs of mining communities, mine equipment and buildings, open pit mining, and placer mining camps in Bisbee, Clarkdale, Douglas, Miami, Pearce, McMillanville, Metcalf, Ruby, Washington Camp, Peña Blanca, Inspiration Mine, and Katherine Mine. There are images of Wallace camped at a mining camp near Peña Blanca in 1929. Also present are photographs of a Williams, Arizona lumber mill and logging activity, and cattle and sheep ranching scenes.
